Carese Gillespie joined Sandler Capital in 2002. Ms. Gillespie performs field checks to evaluate current industry trends, focused primarily on the areas of specialty retail, wireless, and consumer electronics.

Prior to joining Sandler Capital, Ms. Gillespie was a general research analyst at Zweig-DiMenna Associates, focused on short investment ideas. There she gathered proprietary information by performing extensive channel checks. Ms. Gillespie joined Zweig-DiMenna in 1997. She has a B.S. in Economics from the State University of New York College at Oneonta.
